Dewar tank: Dewar tank is a stainless steel pressure vessel with super vacuum insulation, designed for the storage, transportation and use of liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon or carbon dioxide. These containers are manufactured according to DOT4L standards and are used for reliable and economical transportation and storage of cryogenic liquid gases, as well as on-site storage and supply of cryogenic liquid gases in a wide range of applications.
Because the Dewar tank is sturdy and reliable, has a long retention time, and has its own gas supply system, its built-in vaporizer can continuously output room temperature gas (oxygen, nitrogen, argon) with a flow rate of up to 9.2m3/h, and the maximum constant output pressure of the gas is 1.2MPa (medium pressure type)/2.2MPa (high pressure type), which fully meets the gas requirements under normal circumstances. If the user's gas flow rate is large, multiple Dewar tanks can be connected in parallel or an external vaporizer can be installed to meet the gas supply requirements. By installing an external vaporizer, the maximum output flow of a single Dewar tank can reach 30m3/h.
What are the diverse uses of Dewar tanks
Dewar tanks can provide a variety of uses:
◆ Direct gas supply at the work site, its use form is similar to that of compressed gas cylinders;
◆ Small and simple pipeline centralized gas supply;
◆ Use of cryogenic liquids, etc.
Advantages of Dewar tanks:
◆ Low storage pressure, multi-level safety protection devices are set, better safety, and simple and reliable operation.
◆ Large storage capacity, the gas storage capacity of a hexagonal gas cylinder is equivalent to nearly 30 cylinders of cylinder gas (oxygen, nitrogen, argon). Therefore, it can reduce the storage space, reduce the bottle replacement operation, and improve work efficiency. For pipeline centralized gas supply, it can also reduce the investment in busbars.
◆ The bottle body is clean and the supply gas purity is higher. Because it is a direct vaporization supply of liquid gas, it avoids the quality risks caused by secondary pollution in the process of filling, transportation and use of cylinder gas due to more links. Usually the output oxygen purity is ≥99.2%, nitrogen purity is ≥99.999%, argon purity is ≥99.995%, and carbon dioxide purity is ≥99.9%.
◆ High gas utilization rate: After each use of cylinder gas, residual pressure must be left, while the hexagonal gas cylinder liquid gas supply can avoid any waste and reduce gas costs.
◆ The hexagonal gas cylinder weighs about 116Kg, and the total weight after being filled with liquid gas is about 300Kg, while the total weight of 30 cylinders of compressed gas with the same amount of gas is nearly 2000Kg. Therefore, the auxiliary costs of transportation and manpower loading and unloading can be greatly reduced.
◆ It has automatic boost control, line saving, built-in vaporizer, pressure and liquid level indicator, and high integration.
◆ Use advanced technology to improve the production environment and enhance the corporate image.
◆ It does not require any kinetic energy, is not affected by power outages and water outages, and can work all day long.
External structure of the Dewar tank: The Dewar tank generally has four valves, namely the liquid use valve, gas use valve, vent valve, and boost valve. In addition, there are gas phase pressure gauges and liquid level gauges. When the Dewar tank is not in use, remember not to open the booster valve. Be sure to check whether the booster valve is closed, otherwise it will cause gas leakage in the tank. The Dewar tank adopts high vacuum multi-layer insulation and has a volume of 170-200L. It is convenient for the transportation and use of small amounts of cryogenic liquids and is a new choice to replace the transportation and use of traditional high-pressure bottled gas.
