In addition, advanced welding methods like laser welding have faster welding speeds and smaller heat-affected zones, but their equipment costs are high and their operating requirements are more stringent.

Reasonable setting of welding parameters: welding current, voltage, welding speed, wire feeding speed (for welding equipment with automatic wire feeding) and other parameters directly affect welding efficiency. If the welding current and voltage are set properly, the welding arc can be stable and the penetration depth can be appropriate, thereby speeding up the welding speed. However, if the parameters are set improperly, such as excessive current, it may cause the weld to be too wide, the penetration depth to be too large, or even defects such as burn-through, requiring rework, which in turn reduces work efficiency; while too low current will slow down the welding speed and cause poor fusion.

Welding machine power: The power of the welding machine determines the welding energy it can provide. A welding machine with a higher power can complete the welding task in a shorter time. Especially for thicker LPG cylinder materials, a high-power welding machine can melt the metal faster and form a weld. For example, for thicker cylinder barrel welding, a high-power welding machine can significantly increase the welding speed.
