First, the use of cylinder requirements

1. Storage environment: cylinders should be stored in a cool, ventilated, dry, clean, free of flammable and explosive substances and acid and alkali gases. Open flames and smoking are prohibited in the storage room. At the same time, care should be taken to prevent dangerous situations such as fire, flooding, and oxygen overload in the storage room.

2. Transportation requirements: take professional loading and unloading measures during transportation, and load, fix and seal in strict accordance with relevant regulations to avoid damage to cylinders caused by friction, collision and impact. In terms of transportation mode, it is necessary to choose the appropriate mode according to the nature of the gas transported, such as road transportation, railway transportation, air transportation, etc.

3. Installation requirements: The bracket should be installed before the cylinder is used, and materials such as non-slip rubber pads or rubber rings should be used between the cylinder and the bracket to prevent the cylinder from shifting and breaking. The bottom of the bracket also needs to be shockproof to avoid damage to the cylinder by natural disasters such as earthquakes.

Second, the relevant standards of cylinders

1. National standards

GB 5099 "Steel Seamless Gas Cylinders": It stipulates the technical requirements and test methods for the manufacture, inspection and use of high-pressure gas cylinders for various purposes, which is the basic standard of China's cylinder industry.

GB/T 28053 "Technical Conditions for Low-pressure Container Gas Supply System for Compressed Air Vehicles": It is applicable to the container gas supply system directly driven by compressed air for the whole vehicle, and stipulates the technical requirements related to gas supply, prevention of gas leakage and container pressure.

2. International standards
ISO 11114 "Dangerous Goods – Gas Storage Facilities (Storage Tanks)": It regulates the manufacture, transportation and use of gas storage facilities, and provides an important reference for ensuring the stable operation of gas cylinders.

ISO 9809 "Lightweight Seamless Cylinders": specifies the specific requirements and test methods for the design, manufacture, inspection and use of lightweight seamless cylinders, which are suitable for the use of gases such as inert gases and oxygen.
